Pantone Colours
The best colour matching results are achieved when Pantone Spot colours are specified. If a particular colour is required, choose the colour from a Pantone Spot Colour Guide (the physical PMS book is required – not just what you see on screen). Please specify the colours we need to watch out for, and allocate this colour in your PDF.
Customer Proof to Colour Match
If a PMS colour guide is not available, but a colour match is required – please send us an accurate colour proof or sample card, and we will do our best to match the colours. There is a $50 + GST fee to cover the extra time if colour matching is required.
Please Note
The very best way not to have any colour complaints is to explain to your customers that the finished product will most definitely not exactly match a computer screen or in-house proof.
Repeat Orders
We keep samples of all cards printed which are used as the colour match for all repeat orders.
File Formats
Our preferred file format is pdf. We DO NOT accept Word, Publisher or Corel Files. File colour should be CMYK, not RGB.
