Our design, print and signage business has come a long way since my husband, Shane Devlin, and I started Graphix in our family living room in 1995. Our success is powered by a passion for print and a deep commitment to doing right by our clients and the community we live and work in.
Throughout our decades in business, Shane has embraced industry innovations, consistently investing in leading-edge technology and assembling an exceptional team with second-to-none expertise and experience. Today, Graphix stands as a full-service, one-stop print shop. We offer thousands of product solutions to our clients and advice and support to deliver outstanding results via a stress-free process.
Our solutions are innovative, but our values and business practices are traditional. We’re a proud family affair. Our print shop backs onto our home. Our two children are now officially part of the Graphix whānau and are learning the ropes as they prepare to step into leadership roles as part of our succession planning - Laura and Chris were 5 and 3 when we started.
Thirty years in, integrity and quality remain cornerstones of our operation. Before starting Graphix, Shane worked at TNL Print, the commercial print division of Taranaki Newspapers. When he left, he promised himself two things. Firstly, he would build our new business ethically, without taking any of TNL Print's clients with him (even when they asked!). Secondly, Shane vowed that only top-quality work would go out the door. Our “Right First Time and On Time” guarantee keeps us focused on delivering exemplary results and building long-term relationships.
We are deeply committed to doing what’s right for the broader community. Taranaki is our home, and across the decades we have proudly supported a wide range of local charities and community initiatives. We believe that small businesses are the backbone of a thriving economy and vibrant community. Graphix has been an active member of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce since we started out, with Shane serving on the Chamber’s board for the past 10 years. He was also instrumental in establishing the local chapter of BNI (Business Network International) in the early 2000s.
Shane and I couldn’t be prouder of the business we have built. We are as passionate today about looking after our customers and producing the highest quality printed solutions as we were when we started Graphix 30 years ago. With an incredible team, a succession plan featuring our children, awesome clients (some of whom have been with Graphix since we started) and continued innovation in technology and sustainability within our industry, we eagerly look forward to seeing what the next 30 years hold.
